David decided: Chose 'Top firms find top candidates on granular' over the incumbent hero line

David iterated through several hero line options for granular.work before settling on a candidate-facing promise that dropped 'hire' in favour of 'find' as the active verb.

David worked through the hero copy in real time:

do you think the hero should stay as top graduates find top firms on granular or should be changed? eg graduates find top firms on granular? top firms find top graduates on granular? top firms find graduates on granular? we want to appeal to the graduates and current students at unis

And then:

i actually prefer "Top firms find hire candidates on granular."

wait i mean "Top firms find top candidates on granular."

The final line — "Top firms find top candidates on granular" — was deliberate: 'find' describes the action the firm takes and puts the student in the position of being discovered, which is the outcome the student wants and makes a direct promise. David also directed the subtitle to describe the product mechanism, not the demo, keeping the hero section product-focused.
