David decided: Commissioned personalised outreach emails based on inferred course schedules

David directed the agent to build genuinely personalised student outreach emails by looking up each student's major, computing their current courses from the university handbook, and writing from a peer voice rather than a marketing voice.

After the agent produced generic-sounding outreach templates, David pushed back sharply:

no, that misses the mark. dont ask if they use canvas at their uni. you should make it seem like youre one of their fellow peers without explicitly saying it. it should feel like a classmate

He then articulated what deep personalisation looked like:

do we have data on when those students started attending their uni and what they are studying? go find it from our db. then, go do research into their university schedule, and their university classes by looking through the latest handbooks of their university in the departments they are in to find the course offerings for their degrees and majors. then, calculate what classes they would currently be taking right now based on when they started at the university, the university's US college schedule but specifically for that university

He wanted irrefutable inference chains — published handbooks, confirmed graduation year, computed enrollment — so the email could reference a specific class the recipient was likely taking.
