David asked for a separate deck addressed to Stitch, the Cape Town payments company, proposing they sponsor Claude Code and Codex subscriptions for South African students in exchange for Granular giving Stitch a free line into the strongest AI-native talent that comes out of the cohort. When the first draft opened with the partnership ask, he rejected it: 'bruh... going in stragiht with the ask/partnership talk? they dont even know what granular or me is?' He also corrected misrepresentations of his own background (Johannesburg-raised, not Cape-Town-raised; 23, final-year ECE at UCT; PE intelligence work, not consulting; serving firms in South Africa, with UK conversations still active) and refused to say Stitch had agreed to anything they had not yet agreed to.
