David decided: Decided against phased rollout for external-link file resolution fix

David rejected a plan that called for staged rollout of the external-link materialisation fix, directing that the entire implementation be done immediately.

When the agent presented an implementation plan for fixing how external document links (Google Slides, PDFs) are handled in lecture notes generation, it included phrasing about "rollout/testing" phases. David flagged this immediately:

i hope you've not included phased rollout language in this? we need to do it all now. if the plan includes any wording like that, change it to be that we need to do it all now.

He also directed the agent to use sub-agents only for genuinely orthogonal parts of the work, and made explicit that if sections were interdependent they should be executed sequentially by one agent to preserve system coherence:

if the work is all related then you must do it all yourself so that the agents don't up the coherence of the system

This was a recurring pattern: David consistently pushed for full execution over staged delivery when the work was well-understood.
