David decided: Decided kissmewithcompute should let users pay others in compute credits
David proposed extending kissmewithcompute's model to allow users to pay service providers in compute, and thought through the tax implications.
David raised a product extension idea rooted in a real consulting arrangement:
i had an idea... what if we also let people pay others for their services in compute? i'm doing consulting for this one company and i've asked them to pay me 90% of my salary in compute to my delaware c corp as then i dont have personal income tax obligations on that money which i wanted to use for compute anyways. thoughts on this? is this not really a problem? cause couldn't they just pay cash to my company account thus alleviating needing to pay it to kissmewithcompute?
David was testing whether the kissmewithcompute platform needed to be the intermediary for his own arrangement or whether paying his corp in cash was equivalent. The question shaped whether compute-as-payment was a genuine product feature or just a tax structure layered on existing payment flow.
