David decided: Default to frontier, never fall back to shitty alternatives
David refuses Codex's hedged fall-back recommendations and sets a standing rule for the Granular build: do the best in the world, and if Codex won't, tell him what blocker to clear so it can. He treats degraded recommendations as a signal Codex hasn't done the work, not as a real constraint.
we shouldn't do anything less than the best in the world frontier. I really hate this thing of falling back to shitty alternatives. What is the best in the world and why haven't you done that?
