David shipped: Drove granular profile redesign end to end in one session

David initiated, directed, and pushed through a full end-to-end redesign of the granular profile page in a single session, shipping a visual-heavy layout with activity grids, tools analytics, and thread-first structure.

David opened the session with a clear problem statement:

we need to entirely redesign the granular profile page. its too complicated. when i first open granular.work/david, i need to immediately get a sense of how he works. people whove looked at my granular profile say that the idea of granular is awesome but the profiles are so confusing. it needs to be much more visual heavy

Over the course of the session he made multiple directional decisions: chose threads over projects as the grouping primitive, fixed the heatmap orientation, banned glyph kind labels, demanded the activity grid be visible without scrolling, and rejected the tools-as-footnote treatment. When the agent shipped a broken heatmap, David caught it from a screenshot and sent corrections in real time:

THE VISUAL GRIDS ARE ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE SCREEN, SHOWN ALONGSIDE THE MAIN PROFILE PAGE WITHOUT THE USER NEEDING TO SCROLL TO SEE IT

The session ended with a deployed redesign on the dev server with a two-column layout: profile content on the left, activity and tools analytics on the right.
