David decided: Kept kind colors but banned glyph symbols as kind labels

David approved the color scheme for entry kinds but explicitly rejected using symbols like exclamation marks and hashtags as kind labels in the UI.


After seeing the in-progress redesign, David gave mixed feedback on the kind-label approach:

i like the current colours you use for the different types like the exclamation mark, hashtag etc those colors are nice but i dont think we should be using those symbols. also the text bar you added isnt right design-wise. please launch frontend design agents and tell them to redesign with care

The colors were approved but the symbols were not — the kind name itself should render in the kind color, not a glyph. David also called out the text bar as poor design and delegated a focused frontend redesign pass via agents rather than patching it himself.
