David's problem: Notre Dame signup had zero calendar agents and no lecture candidates
David spotted that the first Notre Dame signup produced failed calendar agents, no course sync, and a Spanish course whose content was all Google Slides links — none of which the pipeline could process.
Inspecting the first Notre Dame user's onboarding:
theres been a new signup from someone at notre dame university just now. i want you to go and investigate the boostrap that has or hasnt happened for them and investigate whats goign on.
He pushed back when the agent gave surface-level answers:
but why did it fail open? that doesnt make any sense. if the course has had content/announcements posted within the current semester window... so why did it fail? go dig deeper, not surface level.
On the Spanish course workspace quality:
further, for his spanish class, he clicked on one of the lecture notes generations and went into the workspace, and none of the documents had any of the lecture slides inserted. they were just summaries.
The investigation revealed the course's 24 page topics all linked to external Google Slides URLs, not Canvas file uploads — a content type the pipeline had no handler for at the time.
