David decided: Planned Snitch MCP connector for Claude first, then ChatGPT
David decided to build the Snitch AI connector starting with Claude's MCP interface, then extend to ChatGPT/Codex, and pushed back on agent pessimism about timeline.
David scoped the next major Snitch build:
i wanna build the MCP connector now, for claude first, then the chatgpt app/mcp thing. do you know how we can build the claude one? can you go do research on their docs? would we build one for claude then one for gpt/codex? or how does this all work?
When the agent returned with a multi-week timeline estimate, David rejected it directly:
you're giving timelines based on a pre-AI agent world. you're extremely smart and can spawn agents to build this and we can do it all today. we've done more in less time. don't be pessimistic
He also made a product call mid-discussion, adding repost functionality to the locked v1 feature set:
