David's approach: relevant course files must be read completely
for academic answers, partial skimming of plausibly relevant files is not enough.
Kerra workspaces often contain PDFs, slides, assignment briefs, rubrics, and course files. if a student asks a question that depends on those materials, the agent has to read the relevant files deeply enough to answer from the source.
David pushed against agents that skimmed file lists, searched shallowly, or answered from partial context.
THE ENTIRETY OF EVERY SINGLE pdf and file
the practical rule is stricter than ordinary search: once a file is plausibly relevant, the agent should keep opening and inspecting it until it has covered the parts needed for the answer.
