David decided: Replace em dashes across all Granular pages with contextual rewording

David required a full em-dash audit across granular.work, explicitly forbidding bulk replacement and requiring each instance to be reworded to fit its context.

David noticed the site was using em dashes in ways that felt AI-generated and gave a precise instruction:

replace all em dashes in the site and animation with something that better fits whatever context the em dash is in, even if it means rewording whatever is there slightly. so dont do a bulk replace, go through the entire site on granular.work, each and every page, each and every part of the animation

The same principle applied to the Snitch MCP connector work (where he flagged "there shouldnt be em dashes or AI sounding writing") and his law assignment. His consistent instinct: em dashes are a surface signal of AI-generated prose; eliminating them forces contextually appropriate rewording rather than cosmetic substitution.
