David decided: Replaced referral pledge screen with a privacy-disclosure screen in signup

David discovered zero referral uptake after shipping the $20 referral screen and decided to remove it and replace the slot with a data privacy disclosure screen.

After seeing the engagement data:

ok lets remove it then but first lets make a plan so signup does...

The referral offer had zero pledges, zero invite emails sent, zero clicks, and zero conversions in the period it was live. David made the call to pull it without ceremony, deciding the slot was better used for a privacy assurance screen that would address user apprehension at signup.

He workshopped the copy for the privacy screen with care:

dont use the name LMS. say 'Canvas (or any other colleges site)'

this doesnt work. block 5 doesnt make any sense. no one knows what sync is. dont put block 5 in. what is that about? block 3 and 4 seem to say the same thing

'Kerra is not making any of your copyrighted lectures public' use the word copyrighted there
