David decided: Reset all test users and ran end-to-end signup as a real student to find bugs
David decided to wipe every Kerra user account and re-sign up from scratch using a student LMS session to discover all onboarding bugs before scale.
David directed a full database wipe and a real-student re-signup loop, with Claude Code operating his Chrome browser directly:
delete every persons account from kerra (yes, every user, everyone was just a test user so it doesnt really matter so please dont think im making a mistake or that youre misinterpreting me, im being dead serious)
Then he formalized the approach:
then use my chrome (u have full access to it) and re-sign up to kerra, go through the whole sign up process, figure out where things break or dont work, then fix, then run clear script again, and start the sign up process again, figuring out what doesnt work this time, then repeat loop until signup is super smooth.
During the loop, David also caught a term-selection bug: the system was surfacing the next semester for users signing up during a break, rather than treating their last-semester courses as current.
