many AI product ideas depend on hidden platform details: whether connectors can render UI, whether tool results can include approval cards, whether an assistant will show an iframe, whether a tool call can carry enough context.

David does not find abstract assurances very useful there. in the MCP work, David asked the assistant to test real connectors until David saw actual rendered UI, because the whole product loop depended on that capability.
